Ger Grace Memorial Tournament

We hosted a very successful Ger Grace memorial hurling tournament in Dolla on Saturday last. With four clubs involved we had some fantastic action between Silvermines, Portroe, Mullinahone and Templederry with the south side overcoming Templederry in the final by 2-7 to 1-5.

A very big thank you to all who assisted on the day and to everyone who dropped food, served tea/coffee, arranged the skills for the children and did linesman and umpire duties. Thank you also to everyone who donated to the North Tipperary Hospice on the day and also to all the players who took part in what was a very enjoyable tournament. 

Junior B League

Silvermines overcame Newport by 1-23 to 0-16 in the North Junior B league on Thursday evening last in Newport. The home side led by 0-11 to 0-10 at the interval but Silvermines came on strong in the second half to run out deserving ten-point winners. Our next outing is against Templederry in Dolla on Saturday evening next.

 

North-Mid U-17 League

We face Upperchurch on Thursday in Dolla at 7.30pm. 

 

Junior Camogie

Hard luck to our junior camogie side and management following a heavy 9-19 to 2-5 loss to Eire Og Annacarty in the county league semi-final on Sunday.

    

Lotto Jackpot

 

Our club Lotto is now at 10, 900 euro. Tickets can be bought from committee members or in a number of outlets in Nenagh where the Lotto jackpot is displayed. Lotto tickets can also be bought and renewed online.
