Golf Classic

Silvermines GAA are hosting a Golf Classic on Friday 18th July in Nenagh Golf Club as part of a fundraising effort to assist in the ongoing development and running of the club. Entry for a team of four will be 140 euro. All support will be greatly appreciated. Please contact Maeve DeLoughry for further details.

 

U-13 North Hurling

Well done to our 13 'B' hurlers who overcame Borris-Ileigh in the second round of the championship last week. Their next fixture is at home to Ballina on Dolla this Tuesday 24th June.

 

Lotto

Our Lotto jackpot is now €5,400. Tickets can be bought from committee members or in a number of outlets in Nenagh where the Lotto jackpot is displayed. Lotto tickets can also be bought and renewed online.

U15 A Hurling League

We play Toomevara this Thursday evening in Toomevara at 7.30 pm in the third round of the U15 A North league. Best of luck to all involved.

 

Tipp v Galway

Congratulations to Jason Forde and Michael Corcoran and the Tipperary team and management following their  All-Ireland hurling quarter final win against Galway last Saturday in Limerick.

Silvermines GAA Club would like to express its gratitude and best wishes to Denis Quirke of Denis' Meats butchers in Nenagh who retired from business in Nenagh last week. Denis has long been a huge supporter of Silvermines GAA Club and many a lucky Club Lotto ticket he sold in his Kenyon Street shop.
