All-Ireland Semi-Finals

Congratulations to Jason Forde and Michael Corcoran and the Tipperary team and management in their fantastic All-Ireland victory over Kilkenny in Croke Park on Sunday. Huge congratulations also to Jason for his man of the match performance accolade following a tremendous individual performance.

Congratulations also to Ellen Cunneen, Niamh Cunneen and Sarah Madden and the Tipperary Senior Camogie side following their fantastic extra-time quarter-final victory over Kilkenny in what was a very memorable and proud day for the players, their families and the Silvermines GAA club at GAA headquarters.

1979 Silvermines Junior Hurling Team Get-together

A re-union of the Silvermines Junior Hurling panel of 1979 is being organised. That team won for the club its first North Tipperary Junior Hurling title and also the club’s first ever county title on the field of play. The re-union is scheduled for Friday October 17th  and will be held in Buddy’s of Capparoe. Hopefully all surviving members of that successful panel will attend. Further details closer to the time.
