A great start to our u14 feile campaign with a good win in 

Borrisoleigh  today. After conceding 1-2 in the opening few minutes the mines players settled down and with Luke o’Brien and Cynan Bailey starting to get on top a great ball from Alex Reynolds found David Ryan who rounded his man and finished well to the corner of the net. Points followed Free from Alex Reynolds after a foul on David Ryan and 2 great points on the run from Sean Ryan and Danny Quinn put the mines a point up. A great ground pull from Conor Quigley got another goal for the mines and another point on the run from Michael Ryan and a pointed Free from Alex left the mines 2-5 to 1-4 up at half time . The second half proved a real battle and with the backs getting on top with Sean Mcgrath Cathal Tracey and Robbie Leamy providing great support to Cynan Bailey and    Luke O’Brien the mines pushed on and a great goal from David Ryan and a point on the run from John Ryan and another pointed Free from Alex Reynolds put the mines 7 points up, with Sean and Micheal taking control of midfield the mines ran out winners in a really good game for this time of year.
