Silvermines GAA Notes
County SHL
Hard luck to our hurlers in the county SHL who were defeated by Moneygall on a scoreline of 4-18 to 1-13 in Dolla on Tuesday evening of last week.
Silvermines were level at the break, 1-9 to 2-6 with the ’Mines goal coming from the stick of Cathal Treacy on the 22nd minute mark.
Moneygall netted two further goals inside the opening ten minutes of the second half and this effectively provided the platform for their victory.
Senior Camogie
Hard luck to our senior camogie side who were defeated by Eire Og Annacarty on a scoreline of 3-11 to 0-7 on Sunday in the county league shield semi-final in Annacarty.
Junior Hurling
A late Bryan Seymour point from play ensured Silvermines took the spoils in a closely-fought North Tipperary Junior ‘A’ league clash with Ballinahinch in Ballinahinch on Friday evening last in Shallee.
Silvermines emerged victorious by 0-22 to 0-21 in a game which saw the home side lead by 0-13 to 0-11 at the break. The second half proved a tight affair but Silvermines just edged past the post at the right time with late points from Willie Keogh, Danny Keogh and Bryan Seymour.

U-13 North Football
Hard luck to our U-13 footballers who lost out to Ballinahinch-Templederry on a scoreline of 4-4 to 2-5in Ballinahinch on Tuesday evening of last week. Best of luck to Ballinahinch-Templederry in the final.
U-15 County Football
Our under 15 footballers face Drom/Inch in the county knock-out competition in The Ragg on this Wednesday evening at 7pm. Best of luck to all involved.
Feile na Gael U-15 hurling
Our U-15 hurlers face Holycross/Ballycahill in Holycross at 10.30am on Saturday morning next. Best of luck to all involved.
Munster SHC
Best of luck to Jason Forde and Michael Corcoran and the Tipperary team and management ahead of their crunch third round Munster SHC against Clare in Ennis on Saturday evening.
