County Senior League

Silvermines face Moneygall on Tuesday evening next at 7pm in Dolla in round four of this year’s county league. Best of luck to all involved.

Lotto

Our Lotto jackpot is now €4,500. Tickets can be bought from committee members or in a number of outlets in Nenagh where the Lotto jackpot is displayed. Lotto tickets can also be bought and renewed online.

U-15 Peil na nÓg

Well done to our U-15 footballers who put in a tremendous performance in this Peil na nÓg year’s competition which took place over the Bank Holiday weekend. 

Silvermines faced Portroe in the Division 5 final in Dr. Morris Park on Monday afternoon having beaten Kilsheelan-Kilcash, Upperchurch-Drombane, Moneygall and losing out to Cahir in the round robin fixtures.

In what proved a thrilling battle which saw the final go to extra-time Silvermines prevailed by 2-5 to 2-2. Well done to all involved.

U-15 B North Football

Hard luck to our U-15 footballers who lost out on a scoreline of 3-12 to 3-6 in round 3 of the North championship in Portroe last Thursday evening. We face Roscrea in Roscrea in the North quarter-final on Thursday evening at 7pm. Best of luck to all involved.

U-13 North Football

Best of luck to our U-13 footballers in the North quarter-final against Lorrha Rovers in Ballinderry on Friday evening at 7pm.

U-17 Football

Silvermines are down to face Moyne-Templeouhy/Loughmore Castleiney in Templetouhy on Monday evening next at 7pm

Junior A League

Hard luck to our Junior A hurlers who acquitted themselves very well but lost out on a scoreline of 2-18 to 1-13 in round 2 of the North Tipperary Junior A League in MacDonagh Park, Nenagh on Wednesday evening last.

Silvermines trailed by 1-9 to 1-6 at the break with Dan Ryan netting the ‘Mines goal but the home side pressed on in the second half to record a deserved eight-point victory.

Féile B Camogie Semi-Final

Silvermines took on Moyne Templetouhy in the Féile B semi-final in Holycross on Easter Monday afternoon. Please see Tipperary camogie website for the full-time result.

Senior Camogie

Silvermines lost out to Burgess/Duharra by 1-19 to 1-7 in their county senior league clash in Kilcolman on Sunday. 

Easter Summer Camp

Thank you to everyone who took part and all our volunteers who helped out at this year’s Easter Summer Camp in Dolla. 

Tipp Camogie

Congratulations to Sarah Madden, Niamh Cunneen and Ellen Cunneen who were part of the Tipperary side who overcame Limerick in the Munster Senior quarter final in Semple Stadium on Sunday.

Well done also to Kellie O’Dwyer who lined out at centre-back with the county U-17’s in the All-Ireland Shield final 1-12 to 2-7 win over Galway at the weekend and to Miriam Murphy who lined out at centre back for the U-23 county side in a thrilling Munster final extra-time loss to Cork in Kilmallock on Easter Monday.

Munster SHC

Well done to Jason Forde and Michael Corcoran and the Tipperary team and management following their first round draw in a pulsating Munster SHC clash against Limerick on Sunday. The very best of luck to both players and the Tipperary team and management in the next clash against Cork in Pairc Uí Chaoimh this coming Sunday.
