U- 21’s claim county final victory

Huge congratulations to our under 21 hurlers and management team following their fantastic 2-13 to 1-14 county final win over Gortnahoe Glengoole in Golden on Sunday. Commiserations to Gortnahoe Glengoole also who played a very big part in what was an enthralling final. The victory capped off what has been a memorable and fantastic year for the club. 

Thank you also to all our supporters who travelled to support the team on the day and also to Finbarr and Kathryn at Buddy’s Capparoe for the post-match reception. (see match report).

Presentations

Presentations were made to our outgoing club officers Colm Maher, Tina Shanahan, Geraldine Cunneen, Regina Maher and Tom Kelly at the club's Christmas Draw in Buddy's, Capparoe on Friday 23rd December last. Chairman, Joseph Ryan thanked all for their fantastic service to the club and lauded all for their work to date with Silvermines GAA club. A big thank you to all our sponsors who provided hampers, tokens and prizes for the draw and congratulations to Paul Dillon who won the first prize of 200 euro.

Lotto

Our lotto is now at 8,900 euro. Tickets can be bought from committee members or in a number of outlets in Nenagh where the Lotto jackpot is displayed. Lotto tickets can also be bought and renewed online. Thank you to all who supported our club lotto in 2023.
