North Final Victory

Huge congratulations to our under 21 hurlers and management following their North final extra time victory over an impressive Kilruane MacDonaghs side on Sunday last in Templederry. We would like to congratulate all our players and management team on what was a fantastic day for the club. Silvermines defeated Kilruane on a scoreline of 3-21 to 2-21 and will now face Galtee Rovers in the county semi-final on the weekend after next. Thanks also to all our supporters who travelled to Templederry on Sunday.(see match report).

Camogie

Commiserations to our minor camogie side and management team following their narrow 1-7 to 1-6 loss to Knockavilla Kickhams in a hard-fought county minor B final on Sunday last in Borrisoleigh. Silvermines trailed by 0-3 to 0-2 at the break but Knockavilla managed to eke out a victory after what was a very tight contest. Thank you also to all our supporters who travelled to Borris-Ileigh on Sunday to support the girls.
